Greetings and welcome to the hub of the NSYL. The NSYL is the youth commission of the Nova Scotia Liberal Party. We the Table Officers of the NSYL have 5 general responsibilities:

1. Represent and promote the policies and principles of the Nova Scotia Liberal Party and the Liberal Party of Canada;
2. Promote the exchange of ideas among youth;
3. Foster an awareness of the political system among youth;
4. Develop policy that is in the best interest of the youth in Nova Scotia and to provide a means of forwarding policies and opinions of the members of the NSYL to the Nova Scotia Liberal Party and the Liberal Party of Canada;
5. Organize the youth in the Provincial and Federal Constituencies in Nova Scotia and at all Post-Secondary Institutions in Nova Scotia.

However, our role is more than following guidelines. The NSYL is a political organization dedicated to youth in Nova Scotia. One of our crucial roles is to bring new ideas into the party. We have a voice inside the Liberal Party and want the best ideas that we as a generation can contribute to Nova Scotia and Canada. That is why we need you and your ideas.
